Hazem Abd El-Nasser’s first time to perform his Flamenco Album (Khalf Al Abwab) at ROOM Art Space is with an exciting new quartet that has been formed as a result of his passion for Flamenco. Hazem is joined by the wonderful musicians Luisa Russo, Diaa Elhosary and Mido Renga. Together, this quartet will take you on a beautiful journey into the Flamenco world with different palos that will leave you excited and wanting more!

Hazem Abd El-Nasser is a passionate Flamenco guitarist and composer. He began playing guitar in 2008. He started his musical pathway studying classical guitar at The Cairo Opera House as a diligent student. He played guitar in many duet projects with guitar, oud, cello, flute, violin and voice. He and his companion initiated a duet musical project called “Dos Cuerdas” where they played world famous music, especially tango and latin music. He won the second prize in the International Arab Guitar Competition in classical music. Afterwards he started composing his own flamenco music and became one of the few flamenco guitarists in Egypt. Hazem played many concerts at the Cairo Opera House, embassies like the Italian Embassy in Cairo, and other cultural places like churches and public theaters. Aside from performing, Hazem has a long list of students who learned how to play guitar by his guidance.
Luisa Russo
Luisa Russo is an Italian singer and songwriter based in Egypt she plays guitar and ukulele. Sings mainly in Italian, English, Spanish, French and Arabic. She is lead singer in Estabena music project and collaborated with other music projects in Egypt such as Egybadour and Sol dièse. She recently released her first EP of originals La Sposa del Gufo in her solo project Elle R. Her influences goes from folk Mediterranean music, including Flamenco to healing songs from different traditions.
Diaa Elhosary
Diaa Elhosary is a bass guitar player, started performing in 2011 with The Floydians band covering prog/classic rock bands Pink Floyd and Camel, he has contributed in various original post/prog rock acts and started rock band "Zigzag" in 2015 playing/recording original music and performing in Cairo's most well known venues, Diaa has been always ambitious and obsessed by folkloric music specially sounds from Northwest africa and Spain including flamenco as one of his most beloved music genres.
Mido Renga
Mido is a percussion player and has been performing since 2010. He collaborated with a lot of musicians and projects like RT Nuba, Sara Bill and Fouad & Mounib
