"ريم بنا" مغنية وملحنة وموزعة موسيقية و ناشطة فلسطينية، تميز إسلوبها بدمج التهاليل الفلسطينية التراثية بالموسيقى العصرية. في عام ٢٠١٦ أعلنت ريم توقفها عن الغناء بسبب تدهور حالتها الصحية. توفيت ريم العام الماضي بعد صراع دام تسع سنوات مع سرطان الثدي.

“Rim Banna” was a Palestinian singer, composer, arranger and activist, who was most known for her modern interpretations of traditional Palestinian songs and poetry. In 2016, she announced that she won’t be able to sing again due to her health condition. Rim passed away last year following a nine-year struggle with breast cancer.

I’m honored to be performing her album “Maraya el Rouh” [Mirrors of my soul] on the 6th of April at Room.Art.Space. See you there!
