Nadin Al Khalidi & Tarek Abdelkawi

An acoustic duo formed overseas by the Sweden based, Iraqi/ Egyptian vocalist Nadin Al Khalidi and Egyptian guitarist Tarek Abdelkawi.

When the two songwriters meet they create a musical space in which their original compositions bloom into an honest, heartfelt performance.

The duo's stripped-down compositions are lined with storytelling, and are often inspired by traditional Iraqi tunes, performed here in this concert on Algerian mandole, acoustic and electric guitar.
