Andrew Milad is a 17 year old Egyptian pianist who has been playing piano since the age of 8. He studies classical music with Prof. Marcelle Matta and he has won several classical competitions. The latest was winning in Chopin Piano Competition For Children and Youth in Egypt 2022. He also has been studying jazz piano with Berklee Alumn, Mr. Rashad Fahim, for two years.
Andrew Milad Trio is a newborn band made up of young musicians, all of which, are less than 18 years old. It was established by pianist Andrew Milad joining hands with bassist Youssef Hady and drummer David Maged. They first played together at Battle of the Bands competition 2022 by Bandmakers music academy, in which they won the first prize. They have also collaborated with saxphonist Amr Wagih and played a concert in Cairo International Jazz Festival 2022 in Ewart Hall. With the same formation, They will be playing original compositions, jazz, funk and latin tunes while adding their own flavour.
