"Alvarius B. is Alan Bishop of Cairo’s The Invisible Hands (with Cherif El Masri, Aya Hemeda, Adham Zidan) and The Dwarfs of East Agouza (with Maurice Louca and Sam Shalabi).
In a previous life he was the co-founder of American Underground music trio Sun City Girls and the record label Sublime Frequencies.

His solo shows as Alvarius B. are a highly entertaining mix of singer/songwriter material wrapped inside a comedic smoking jacket, always shifting gears and never performing the same show twice, almost akin to riding in a Cairo taxi driven by a foreigner.
