J.J Quartet is an All-Egyptian band playing exciting rearrangements of bop-era and post bop-era jazz standards.

Formed earlier this year, the band was formed by saxophonist Amr Wagih joining arms with well established jazz educator and Berklee alum Rashad Fahim, as well as principle Cairo Opera leader and double bass player Karim Adnan, and Ahmed Moustafa-Riad (Mickey) swinging away on the drums.

Together, these musicians have joined forces under the common goal of rejuvenating the jazz scene in Egypt and to further pay homage to the greats who came before and established the genre.
