Dabbet Namla is an Arabic Indie Pop Rock band based in Cairo.

Our songs revolve around the common cultural and trending topics in the local and global community.

The band started early in 2018 by Mostafa Farid (vocals & guitars) along with Khedr Higazi (bass). Shortly after, Youssef Wassef (guitars) joined in and the main trio put all their passion in writing and producing songs.
In 2019, Ahmed Montasser (drums) joined in and helped fill in the missing pieces in the originals. And while the band had a setlist ready for gigging we were still looking for a lady singer. The search however was not easy.
Fast forward to 2021 (not mentioning 2020 for commonly known reasons), Mary Darwish was the perfect candidate as she is now the golden voice of Dabbet Namla.

We are excited to have our 1st concert at Room Art Space on the 1st of April and hope to see you all there!
