رووم بتدعوكم لحضور ليلة جميلة من المقامات العربية مع /محمد عنتر/ ناي، و /يوسف العشّي/ عود وصوفي فرانكفورد/كمان؛ الحفلة بعنوان "فن المقام" هنسمع مجموعة من الوصلات المقامية من مؤلفات محمد عنتر.
"فن المقام" هو أحد المشروعات الموسيقية للفنان /محمد عنتر/ والذي يقدم من خلاله مجموعة من مؤلفاته الموسيقية ذات القوالب العربية الأصيلة في صورة وصلات مقامية
تمثل كل منها مقاما بعينه؛ وتتكون الوصلة من عدد من الأقسام تتعانق فيها المؤلفات الموسيقية مع التقاسيم الحرة والارتجالات الموقعة، إذ تبدأ الوصلة بقسم مؤلف
ليس فيه مجال للارتجال، يتبعه قسم مرتجل يؤدي فيه أحد العازفين تقاسيم تبرز سير المقام وحدوده الموسيقية وقدراته التعبيرية، يتبعه قسم مؤلف به مساحات للارتجال
في حوار بين الثابت والمرتجل، ثم تعود الوصلة إلى التقاسيم من عازف آخر يؤكد على المقام وما كان من قبله ويمهد للقسم النهائي وهو قسم ثابت ليس به مساحة للارتجال
يتميز بسرعته وحيويته ويلخص موضوع المقام.

Room is pleased to invite you to a lovely night of Arab Maqam with Mohammed Antar (Nay), Youssef El Ashy (Oud), and Sophy Frankfurd (Violin). We're going to listen to some beautiful pieces of traditional style Arab music composed by Mohammed Antar.
"The Art of Maqam" is one of Mohammed Antar's musical project in which he presents a number of his traditional Arabic style compositions in Wasla form.
A wasla is a Baroque suite-like form in which a number of compositions as well as improvisations are put together in a certain order. These pieces follow
the same modal patern throughout the Wassla. Typically a Wasla is divided into 5 sections starting with a composition which has no open space for improvisation
followed by a fully improvised section in which one of the performers shows the Maqam and its possibilities. The third section contains compositions in
which a dialogue between the composed and the improvised is noticeable and this section is considered the heart of the Wasla. Then the Wasla returns to
the fully improvised as an introduction to the fifth section in which one or more compositions with faster tempo is played to end the Wasla.
