Room will be hosting a special night of Rock/Pop/Anime Covers by Egyptian Vocalist Nour Khan.

Nour Khan is an independent vocalist from Egypt. She had a passion for singing since she was 8 years old but in 2010 she started developing her singing techniques all by herself.

Nour has always been inspired by rock music and spacetoon/anime songs.

In 2011 she started singing at open mics and she was singing covers for Evanescence, Within Temptation and others.

In 2012 she participated in “Sing Egyptian Women” competition which was held by “The US Embassy in Egypt”, “ShareTheMic” and “Nile Promotions” where she made it to the top 16 and performed live at El-Sawy Culture Wheel.

In September 2013 she made her first original song "Ghorabaa" with her friend Abdallah Mohamed who worked on the music. The lyrics is from the famous poem "Ghorabaa" by Samih al-Qasim. The song became a hit and has now more than 3 million plays on SoundCloud.

Currently she is working on an EP collaborating with different talented musicians.
