Room invites you to a Storytelling, Photography and music performance with the artist Christian Stejskal. He will tell the story from his upcoming book; “My Neighborhood” about his 7000 km walk on foot from his birthplace Vienna, Austria to Cairo where he encountered the “Zabaleen”-Cairo's informal garbage collectors. He will narrate his double life between his work as a violin player at the Cairo Opera house and his home among the garbage collectors.

This performance will take the audience on a journey through different destinies of people living in the garbage area- their joys, their struggles, their tragedies, and their small triumphs in life.
