KhaltaBeta band was founded in 2010 by collaboration between the music producer Peter Malak and Sarah Sherif, and the project started by making videos on YouTube, the most famous of which are “Sabab Farahi” and “Saat”. The team works on presenting a mixture of different musical styles between eastern and western, hence the name KhaltaBeta.
In 2014, the team began participating in music projects in cooperation with private and community institutions and bodies, which resulted in the production of more than 120 original songs over a period of 5 years. The team also participated in local and international artworks, the most important of which is the International Music Festival (FIMU) in France, and the Summer Festival at the Bibliotheca of Alexandria, also the song “Hawel Tefhamni"" from the movie” Grey"" starring the artist Abdel Aziz Makhyoun and produced by Caritas Egypt Organization.
The main concept of KhaltaBeta is to share positive energy throughoriginal & cover songs.The band has created different playlists consisting of original songs with different topics & cover songs with different languages while keeping a special arrangement.
